Credit Unions have been made aware of an emerging fraud threat where fraudsters are contacting credit union members and verbally obtaining details of their debit card as well as personal security information and then using that information to setup Apple pay and Google pay and completing fraudulent transactions.
Credit Unions have been made aware of an emerging fraud threat where fraudsters are contacting credit union members and verbally obtaining details of their debit card as well as personal security information and then using that information to setup Apple pay and Google pay and completing fraudulent transactions.We urge caution and advise that you must NEVER share your financial information, passwords, one-time codes, or personal information with an unsolicited third party.
